Hi I'm Kara Jayne

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

i'm kara. i'm the mom to four crazy good kids that make my life full and meaningful. my husband is the strong silent type, and i'm truly blessed to have him in my life. i'm a poor writer but am full of thoughts, feelings, and the desire to share them. humor me and my lacking grammar skills. when i'm not mothering and keeping house i like to run, read, make jewelry, and try to do everything else.

Why I am a Mormon

i was raised as a member of the church of jesus christ of latter day saints. i cannot imagine my life without it. it makes all things clear and simple. i know that if i do my best to follow my savior, and try to follow the principles of the gospel that He has revealed to the prophets, i will be able to live with Him again along with those that i most love and cherish. there is no greater happiness.

How I live my faith

i believe that living my faith means living like my savior. it is to do all things which glorify in him and his creations. i try my best to be a good wife, mother, daughter, sister, neighbor and citizen. i am heavily involved in the school where my kids attend. i am part of a group that teaches principles of our constitution and founding fathers to them at school. i have been able to draw on my time serving in our church for help and experience. i served for many years with the young women (ages 12-18) in my congregation and learned that the youth of today are bright and good. serving recently with the small children in my congregation (primary ages 18 months - 11) was such a testimony building experience. the faith and humility of small children should be something we as adults should continually strive for.
