Hi I'm Abraham

I'm a Latter-day Saint.

About Me

I enjoy playing tube, singing in a barbershop quartet and spending time at high school football games with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in a family of ten children. We had little at times. The church has provided me with the framework that I use to raise my family. I am thankful for the set of standards that protected me as a youth and now protects me as a father. These standards help me to best position my children for the future. The church has also provided me with opportunity to serve in various assignments. Those assignments have helped me secure a better job with my current employer. My point is simple - from a stretegic point of view, this church is the most logical choice if you want to position your familiy for success in this life and the life to come.

How I live my faith

I am the second councilor in the Bishopric - that means I provide council and insight to our Bishop, the leader of our congregation. He assigns me tasks and duties to report on. One off the tasks he asks me to do is to arrange the music for our sacrament meeting. My Bishop is in his 60's. It is wonderful to get to work with such an old guy - his life's experience blesses my family's life.

How can I know Mormonism is true?

I love this question because it shows you are searching. Keep searching and you will find out just as I have. The unique thing about our church is each member is entitled to know for themselves. Ask God and expect an answer. If you ask with real intent, you will get an answer. I should tell you the best case is when you first do your homework. Read the Book Of Mormon, ponder in your hear the words. This worked for me :) Show more Show less
