Hi I'm Lee

About Me

I'm a father of 3 young children and am finding that my interests are slowly being forfeited in order to care for them. When I do have some time to myself, I love jazz music and have played the piano for a number of years. I play tennis occasionally and am interested in the martial arts.

Why I am a Mormon

I've been a member of this church my entire life and have never regretted a day of it. I find so many answers to questions about the purpose of life and the importance of families so satisfying.

How I live my faith

I'm the Ward Clerk who helps the Bishopric (leadership of our congregation) become aware of trends in our ward (e.g., attendance), handling financial reports, and membership records. I also am assigned to check up on a few families in our congregation and help strengthen their faith.

Are all Mormons required to serve a mission?

No. Young men, 18-19 years old, are asked to serve a two-year proselyting mission anywhere in the world. They and their families are asked to finance the mission, but if situations don't permit, the church will step in and assist. Young women can also serve a mission at age 19, but are not expected to. Who chooses the Mormon prophet?

The senior Apostle is the president/prophet of the the LDS church. The Apostles are chosen by inspiration, and it is the next most experienced one that will become the prophet when the living prophet passes away. Show more Show less
