Hi I'm Kiel

I'm from Phoenix, Arizona. I love my girls. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a proud father of three girls and have a beautiful wife. My life revolves around my family (although sitting on the couch at the end of a long day the girls are usually "revolving" around me). I am an attorney at a law firm in town, a career that I love and that keeps me busy. I served a two-year LDS mission in Recife, Brazil, but by now my Portugues is getting a little rusty. I love watching baseball, playing golf, and reading the Economist. Most of all I love going out for a hamburger with my wife.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born to an LDS family and have been going to church ever since. My belief in Jesus Christ and his church have grown brick by brick over the years, and now I can say that I have a firm testimony that Christ is my Savior and Redeemer. I can feel his presence when I am at church, at home talking about the gospel with my family, and all alone reading the Bible and Book of Mormon. The feelings of love, peace, and security the gospel brings are why I'm a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I am the president of an organization of male members in the local unit of the church. I get the opportunity to help coordinate Sunday services, teach lessons, plan activities, and visit with many of the wonderful members of the church. I love seeing individuals and families who would not normally interact become friends and learn to depend on each other. Having my family become part of a larger church family is great source of strength to me, especially in today's world.
