Hi I'm Kirk T

About Me

I've been a member of the church all of my life. I was baptized at age 8. I went on a mission at age 19 to Paris, France. I was sealed married to my sweetheart in the Salt Lake City temple at age 24. I have a 2 year old daughter, and a 6 month old daughter. I love my Savior, Jesus Christ, and am learning to be more like Him every day.

Why I am a Mormon

I guess the simple version is that the gospel brings me peace. I have made choices in the past that were not in line with what I know to be right. I found in so doing that my life became anxiety ridden, and I was, overall, just unhappy. I found that as I made better choices and followed the teachings of the gospel I found peace, happiness and just a general sense of well being.

How I live my faith

I serve as a counselor in the Elders quorum an Elder is an office of the Melchizedek priesthood the priesthood is the authority to act in God's name to serve others, and those who hold this office meet together each Sunday to teach each other... currently I help lead this group. I do my best to live, and be an example of, what I know to be right. I try to share my beliefs with others as often as I can, but I know I could do better.

Can a husband and wife be together forever? Do Mormons believe that families will live together in heaven?

Kirk T
