Hi I'm Andrea

I'm a Mormon. I am from the Northwest, am a wife, mother, and grandmother. I work with children every day as I own a childcare.

About Me

I love sewing, reading, camping, going out to eat, and spending time with family and friends. I have served in the US Navy for four years, and love helping people. I recently went back to college and love it. I am a wife, mother, and grandmother and love traveling too.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon in part because of the example of a great friend. I wasn't looking for the Church, but I had many questions that my old church couldn't answer. I was always asking questions like, " If God had prophets in the olden times, why don't we have them now? Why were there 12 Apostles in Jesus' day, but not in our own? Why was it so important for Jesus to find his cousin John to baptize him? Couldn't he have just been baptized by anyone?" My friend invited me to meet the Missionaries, and I found the answers that I was searching for. I have always been religious, but since joining the Church, I have found where I belong. The Spirit testified to me that my decision to be baptized was the correct one. I love being a Mormon. It has made me who I am today. Today, I am happy.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by volunteering and working with young people. I volunteer my time every week either teaching a church lesson or by assisting in a mid week youth activity. I am also a family history instructor and love helping people find their ancestors, and where they came from. I also live my faith when I help my neighbors, friends, and associates with the things that they need. It makes me feel great helping others.
