Hi I'm Madeleine

I'm a redhead. I'm a young mother. I want to travel the world with my family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Right now, the most important thing about me is that I am a wife and mother. I have been married for two years and have a baby girl that I get to spend my days with while my husband studies illustration. I graduated from college with a BA in Sociocultural Anthropology and a minor in Mathematics. I spent a summer in Uganda teaching at primary schools and miss the children and people there every day. I can't wait to take my family there as well as experience living and serving in many other countries. I recently worked as an aide at a school for youth being treated for mental illness and as a special education aide at a middle school. I love helping kids to learn and succeed, especially when they have struggled in the past. I like to read, dance, and learn new things. I love music and beautiful spring and fall days.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because the gospel of Jesus Christ brings me happiness and peace. Because of the things I know through the gospel, I can be happy and have peace no matter what is happening in the world around me. I know God loves me and that I am his daughter. I know that with his help I can do anything that is required of me.

How I live my faith

I live my faith each and every day by trying to be the best I can and doing what I know is right. I am trying to be a good example and teach my daughter about Heavenly Father and Jesus even though she is still very small. I also have the opportunity to teach a youth Sunday School class. It's hard to know how to teach the youth sometimes, especially when they aren't very good at paying attention, but I try to let them know how important the church is, and especially the role of Christ in their lives.
