Hi I'm Stephani

I married my sweetheart. Together, with our four children, we have a habit of taking the road less traveled. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a stay at home mom of four delightful children. The five of us together are supporting my husband in his training as a Radiation Oncologist. It's been a long road through undergraduate school, obtaining an MD/PhD degree and now residency training. However, the end is in sight - just two years left! I love reading, sewing, gardening, cooking and am passionate about the education of my children. I am just as equally passionate about music and am currently teaching piano lessons from home.

Why I am a Mormon

My father converted the the Church in his late teens. My mother was raised as a Latter-day Saint. I grew up in a home where Jesus Christ was the center. As I teenager I knew that I needed to find out for myself whether or not the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints was indeed Christ's restored church on the earth. I will never forget the evening where, after much prayer and thought, I received my own personal witness that Jesus Christ is my Savior and that this is truly His Church and His gospel. My testimony has grown and my conversion has deepened every day since. I find comfort, peace, joy and every day practical answers in the Book of Mormon - another testament of Jesus Christ. I know that both the Book of Mormon and the Bible bear witness of Him. I know that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ appeared to the boy, Joseph Smith. I know that Joseph was the prophet, the instrument of the restoration of Christ's church here on the earth today. Our living prophet, Pres. Monson, continues to be the mouthpiece of Jesus Christ today. The gospel of Jesus Christ is the center of my life and I am grateful beyond expression for it.

How I live my faith

Each day is another opportunity to try to become more like the Savior. Knowing that my example is critical to my children's perception of Jesus Christ is both humbling and strengthening. I am a member of our congregation's women's organization whose purpose is to provide relief - whether temporal, mental or spiritual. As a member I coordinate the teaching of the Sunday lessons. It is a great privilege to work with outstanding women who are always ready and willing to lend a hand in any given circumstance. It is also a great comfort to know that these amazing women will also rally around my family should the need arise.
