Hi I'm Linda

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I used to be an elementary school teacher, but am now fortunate enough to work part time from home so that I can be with my little boys. I try to improve my neighborhood by serving in the Blockwatch and on the Board of Directors for my HOA. When I get a quiet moment, I love to read. In the past two years I have taken up running. I have run distances up to a half marathon and I love Ragnar Relays.

Why I am a Mormon

Life can be hard and there can be a lot of disappointments. But, through my faith, I can find hope. I hope for a lot of things, spiritual as well as day to day temporal things. I know the only place I can find hope is through our Savior. When I stop relying on him, and start relying on myself and others, I get discouraged. The gospel helps keep me positive and helps me focus on the important things I am doing in this life. I am a much happier person because of my testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I serve as a leader of the children's organization in our church (Primary). I teach classes, organize teachers for our Sunday School classes, help facilitate weekly activities such as Boy Scouts, and do the best I can to follow the admonishment of the Savior to "suffer the children to come unto Me." I also strive to lead my own family closer to our Savior through prayer, scripture study, and service in our home.
