Hi I'm Greg

I'm a Mormon. I work as a finance controller for Intel. My wife and I have five girls and one boy.

About Me

I love sports especially football and basketball. I also like to travel. This summer our family traveled to Mount Rushmore, Yellowstone Park, Saint Louis, New York City and Washington DC. In all we traveled through 18 different states. It was pretty fun even with a car load or kids.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I have had a witness from the Holy Ghost that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, that Joseph Smith was one of his prophets and that the Book of Mormon is true. I have been interested in scripture as long as I can remember. As a young boy around eight years old I started reading the Bible. I have read it many times since. I love the bible and still read from it. From this I think my belief in God was formed though I honestly can't remember a time when I didn't believe in God. While I have been a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints all my life it wasn't really until I was 19 or 20 that I found the Book of Mormon. I had been taught from it and had read it but never studied it. I thought it is much simpler than the bible and much shallower. However I was very mistaken. While serving a mission for my church I really started to study it like I had the bible. My mind was opened and not only did I see the great depth of doctrine and spirituality from the Book of Mormon but it also greatly increased my understanding of the bible. I continue to read and study both books of scripture both personally and with my family. I love the word of God. When I read it I receive inspiration and revelation. I must also mention that I love the temple. It has been one of my favorite topics of study in both the Bible and Book of Mormon. I was able to attend the dedication of the Albuquerque Temple and it was one of the most spiritual experiences of my life. Overwhelming joy and peace are too weak of words to describe what I felt that day.

How I live my faith

I love to teach the gospel from the word of God. It is the most fulfilling thing I have ever done in my life. God has given me the gift to teach gospel subjects in a simple way which gives others insights and inspiration.
