Hi I'm Willis

I go by "Dave". I grew up in Laramie, WY and now live in Utah.

About Me

After college I joined the US Air Force and, with my dear family, "saw the world". For the most part it was a wonderful experience. Since retiring we have settled down in Utah. I am a father and grandfather. I enjoy skiing in the winter and riding bicycles in the summer. Life is good.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints because I know it is the Lord's church here on earth. I have been a member of many LDS congregations around the world and whether the unit was small or large, the members were kind and friendly and a special spirit was always there. I have studied and prayed to know if the teachings of the Gospel are true and the Spirit has witnessed to me in an undeniable way that they are.

How I live my faith

I work with the various congregations in our community speaking in their meetings and helping them become more organized.

What is a “testimony” that Mormons speak of?

Willis
My testimony is a firm belief and understanding that certain aspects of the Church are true. I have gained my testimony bit-by-bit ina very personal way through study, prayer, and application. Show more Show less
