Hi I'm Mary

I'm a mother, a runner, a baker, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am happy. I have a wonderful husband, and I am a mother to three beautiful girls. I'm lucky enough to stay home with my girls while by husband works to financially support our family. Some of my favorite things, are running, cooking, reading, music, and being outside (doing anything). I graduated from college with a BA degree in Geography about 2 years ago. I am interested in the world and trying to make it a better place. I love to teach my children, and to explore the world with them. I love to exercise (cycle and run mostly) and feel like I've learned a lot about life in general through exercise. I love my husband--he is my anchor and my best friend. I am just generally happy about life.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a Mormon family, and at a fairly young age, decided that I needed to know for myself if what I had been learning at church and from my parents was true. I had and have had since feelings from the Holy Ghost that help me to know that what I believe is true. My beliefs have stayed with me and only deepened as I have had more and more experiences that have helped me know of them, and my relationship with God. I know that God is my father who knows and loves me personally. I know that Jesus Christ atoned for my individual sins, heartache, pain, insecurities and anything else I may face. That knowledge changes everything for me. I am so so grateful to Him for what he has done for me.

How I live my faith

My faith is incorporated in everything I do and am. I try to live my beliefs and values and thus try to be a Christlike person. I have been able to teach, play the piano, be creative in interaction with children, have administrative responsibilities and more in my responsibilities at church. Through these responsibilities, I have been able to see that there are problems and triumphs behind every door, and our Heavenly Father cares deeply about each of them. This is something that has helped me grow closer to Him.
