Hi I'm Charlie

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a federal government employee with the U.S. Coast Guard living and working in the Washington DC area. I have a beautiful wife and two precious girls who mean everything to me! I love spending time with my family. I recently graduated from The George Washington University and received my Masters in Security and Safety Leadership. I have a passion for art and music. I love working out and spending time outdoors.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I have grown to love the gospel of Jesus Christ. I love reading the Book of Mormon and receiving its inspiration. I grew up in a loving family who lived the gospel and practiced the teaching of Jesus Christ in our home. My parents were creative examples of gospel principles and always tried to teach us how to live in the world without being of the world. I continue to practice my faith because I want to continue the same legacy to my children. I love how the church is centered on the family.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by respecting and honoring God and my family, volunteering in church youth activities and donate time and energy as the Varsity Coach with the local Boy Scouts. I try to serve others and share the gospel through my everyday example. During difficult times in life, I try to keep the Savior's atonement in my heart and mind. I know my Savior loves me because I see small consistent miracles in my life and in the lives of those around me.
