Hi I'm Robi

I grew up in California. I work in Silicon Valley. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm the baby of nine children. My parents divorced when I was very young. I grew up in the San Francisco/Bay Area where I played soccer and golf. I met my wife in high school and she waited for me while I served my mission in Argentina. Upon my return, my wife and mother-in-law joined the church. I attended college locally and love living here in the Bay Area. I enjoy outdoor activities, such as cycling, golf, fly fishing and spending time with family and friends. My wife and I have three beautiful daughters.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church but I struggled during my youth to gain my own witness, or testimony, of the truth. I have been blessed many times to feel the Holy Spirit testify to me that I am a child of God and that He really does have a plan for me. The gospel of Jesus Christ provides for me a foundation in dealing with the many challenges that we all face in life. I know and understand that we are not perfect and we all fall far short of where we need to be in order to return to live with our Heavenly Father, and I believe that with God's grace, mercy and through the Atonement of Jesus Christ, we can overcome our challenges and experience true happiness in our lives. I know God lives and that His Son, Jesus Christ died for each of us because He loves us unconditionally. His love is perfect and never ending. I want to live my life sharing with others what I have found to be true.

How I live my faith

I have worked with the youth in our local congregation for many years and now enjoy spending time with the many members of our region - both young and old. I get the opportunity to speak with them frequently on matters of importance, such as family, faith, overcoming adversity and Christ-like service. I recently was able to coordinate a faith-based blood drive with the American Red Cross in the hopes that many lives would benefit from our donations. Giving service to others demonstrates the love that we have for the Savior. I feel very blessed and want to share this knowledge with others for I believe we are all children of our Heavenly Father.
