Hi I'm Claudia Romo

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mom of 5 children. They are 12,10,8,6,4. I love volleyball and dancing.

Why I am a Mormon

I was introduced to the church when I was nine years of age. My mom , my sister and I were baptized first, then my dad also join the church. Attending the church was not a priority in our home. When I was seventeen years my dad died in a car accident. Thanks to our bishop we were able to cope with the difficult loss. At first I did not want anything to do with going to church. But, with the loving patience of the members I was able to gain a testimony of our Savior Jesus Christ, and of the church. I love going to church now. I feel closer to my Heavenly Father, every Sunday when I have the opportunity to attend with my family.

How I live my faith

In the church we have various opportunites to serve. The Relief Society is our womens organization that help women in the church be better mothers, and daughters of our Heavenly Father. Once a month we visit each other to talk about spiritutal and non spiritural things. In the church I coordinate the visits. I also teach the gospel to the young men and women in the church. They are a great example to me.

Why is family so important to Mormons?

Claudia Romo
Families are so important to us, because we come to this world to be supported by other human beings with one purpose. To return together with Heavenly Father. They are here to accompany us during the trials we will have in this life. Show more Show less
