Hi I'm Sarah.

I'm a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

About Me

My husband and I both grew up in the church. I'm working toward a Bachelor's degree by taking online classes. I enjoy traveling, reading, crocheting, and hanging out with my family and friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church. Whether a person grows up in the church or comes into it sometime throughout their life, each person has to receive his or her own witness that the principles taught are correct. From the time I was small, I have been taught that God is my Father and that He loves me. I can go to Him in prayer and talk to Him. He answers in such a way that I can recognize that He hears me and listens. I can receive personal revelation for things personal to me and also the Lord has a prophet through whom He reveals things to teach and guide us in our day.

How I live my faith

I have the opportunity to serve as the Relief Society 2nd counselor in my ward. The Relief Society is the womens organization of the church. Relief Society provides opportunities for women to increase in faith and personal righteousness, strenghten homes and families, and to seek out and help those in need. I'm grateful for the opportunities to meet with and learn from the other women at church. We are all given talents to bless and help each other. I'm grateful for the scriptures to learn how others throughout time have lived the gospel. I'm grateful to be able to pray to Heavenly Father. He does hear and He does listen.

How can I find someone to talk with, in person, about the Mormon religion?

Look up The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the phone book, find the nearest church building to you, and attend a Sunday church service. Most buildings have a congregation that meets at 9am or 10am. Remember to dress nice - dresses or skirts for the ladies, and dress pants, shirt, and tie for the guys. Everyone is welcome to come. Read the Book of Mormon: Another Testament of Jesus Christ. You can buy a copy online or missionaries often have copies to give out for free. We also believe the Bible to be the word of God, so don't forget to read this, too. If you have satelite TV, there is BYUTV. This channel can also be found online. Show more Show less
