Hi I'm Angela

I'm a Mormon. I love my family. I love my faith. I hope to live it well.

About Me

I am a teacher, mother, and a military wife. I am a teacher at heart. I love little children and learned so much from them as I taught elementary school for nearly three years. I'm learning to appreciate my mother and father more every day as I raise my twin boys. As I am also a twin myself, I now understand some of the things my parents went through to teach good values to my sister and I. I am proud to be the wife of a husband who is serving in the military. His hard work and determination have been an example to me and to my children. We are happy to serve our country.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon for many reasons. I love the joy and peace I feel in my life as I practice the teachings of the LDS faith. I have been a member of this church my whole life. I gained a testimony and true understanding of Jesus Christ since my childhood. I know that the gospel of Jesus Christ is true. I know because when I pray and ask I always get a peaceful assurance that it is right. I am a Mormon because I believe in prophets and apostles in modern days. They have the power to receive guidance from God. The Lord has not left us in the dark. He loves us and wants us to return to Him after this life. That is why he gives his servants, the prophets, direction for us. If we follow them we will receive answers and solutions to our problems. I am a Mormon because I believe in eternal families. The family is the central most important unit. We are on this earth to guide our children in the right direction and to help them develop the skills and faith that will help them make positive choices. Through the power of God and promises we make in the his holy temple we can return to him as husband and wife and as a family. All we have to do is honor our promises to him and live a good life. I am a Mormon because I know this church is true. I have no doubt in my heart.

How I live my faith

Everything I do and say is dictated by what I believe. I try to stand up for my faith and to be an example so my children will know how to show their love for God and heir love for everyone around them. I am who I am because of my faith in Jesus Christ. I try to follow the example He set during his ministry on Earth.

How can we increase our faith in Jesus Christ?

Through study and prayer. The holy scriptures testify of Christ. When we read them we can come to know him better. When we pray to Heavenly Father in Chrst's name our faith is increased. As we live his teachings we come to understaned that they are true because of the way it makes us feel. Show more Show less
