Hi I'm Phillip Thomas

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Father of 4, full time dentist, avid bay area sports fan.

Why I am a Mormon

Through The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, I have come to know God as my loving, caring and helpful Heavenly Father and Jesus as my brother and Savior. I've learned how they would like me to live my life, and how submitting to their will makes me truly happy. I've learned how to see, respect and care for all of God's children here on Earth, regardless of their circumstances, beliefs or backgrounds. I cling to the knowledge that my wife and children and my extended family can be eternally linked and we can enjoy our family in both this life and in the life to come.

How I live my faith

As Bishop of my congregation, my church responsibilities include caring for and helping members of the ward develop and enhance their faith, learn the gospel and receive all of the opportunities for blessings that the church offers including baptism, Priesthood ordination, missionary service and temple marriage and sealings. At home my wife and I work together to provide a loving, safe environment in our home where our children can learn and implement the gospel and its teachings as they mature and develop. At work, I try to treat my patients as my friends, always acting with their best interest at heart. In the community, I try to be a productive member of society who looks for opportunities to meet and interact with others, particularly those from backgrounds different than mine.
