Hi I'm Leslie Annette

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mother of 4 wonderful children and am married to my high school sweetheart. I love to quilt and be with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I am so fortunate to have been born in a Mormon family. My parents stopped attending church when I was about 10 years old but I had an older sister who was already married in the temple and starting her own little family by then. She seemed to have a perfect life and I desperately wanted to be like her. Through my teen years I was basically on my own to get to church so sometimes it was difficult to go but I knew what I wanted and what my goals were... to be able to be married in the temple and have a righteous family.

How I live my faith

I had the opportunity to work with the Young Women of our ward during the Day of Celebration and to witness the great testimonies that were developed in the youth. Now I am working with the Young Men as Scout/Varsity/Venture Committee Chair and love the Scouting programs. I am also the ward Activities Co-chair with my husband and serve as the Stake Indexing Director.

Why is it important for us to take care of our bodies? Why are our bodies called temples of God in the Bible?

Leslie Annette
I believe we need to take care of our bodies so we can be healthy. Proper eating and exercise are important to be able to carry out our daily duties and anything we may need to do that the Lord asks of us. Our bodies are called temples of God because the Holy Spirit can reside in us if we are worthy. Show more Show less
