Hi I'm Natalie

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born into the church. I was 15 when I gained a testimony of my very own. After graduating high school and about 2 years of college, I served a full-time mission in Knoxville, Tennessee. I met my husband in 2006, and we were married a year later in the Salt Lake Temple.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was going into my freshman year of high school, I decided that I wanted to know for myself if everything I was taught growing up was true. I spent that summer reading the Book of Mormon and praying about it. One day while praying to know the truth, I received an answer that indeed everything I had been taught was true. That same feeling I had at that time has continued with me throughout the years. Every time I speak about the Book of Mormon or the First Vision, the spirit again whispers to me that it is true.

How I live my faith

I live my faith in many different ways. I live my faith by sharing it with others. I live my faith as I serve those around me. I am currently serving in the Primary (children's group). I love serving them and learning from them. I am also serving as a Guest Service Missionary at Temple Square, welcoming visitors to events such as Music and the Spoken Word with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir.

Can you tell me about Mormon customs: how you dress for church, what holidays you celebrate, etc.?

As far as how we dress for Sunday worship, we wear our Sunday best. Women wear modest skirts, blouses, dresses. Men wear white shirts, suits, ties. When you visit with us, you may choose to wear something along these lines, although we will accept you in way you come. We celebrate all holidays. Show more Show less
