Hi I'm Amy Annie Lampara

I am studying Business Management and working as a call center agent. I love dancing and singing. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love reading and learning new things.I also love hiking, jogging, and adventures. I'm interested in fashion, singing and dancing, and traveling. I am studying BS in Business Management during the day and working as a customer service representative in a call center firm at night.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents are members of the church already when they married, so we grew up in the church because of them. I believe everything they taught me about the church and what it stands for. In short, I believe the church to be true because they believe and knew. I go to church and did the things that they taught me. When I turned 17, we moved to another place. I also started working with the missionaries and bearing my testimony to the people they were teaching. But it was a borrowed testimony, the testimony of my parents, not mine. I came to the point that I question what I believe and what my parent believes. I believed that the Book of Mormon to be true but never really finished reading it and never had a personal witness of its divinity. I was confused and started doubting. I wanted to know for myself if its true. The missionaries taught that if it is true then Joseph Smith was a true prophet of God and that the Church the true church of the Living God I commit myself to find the answer. I started reading the Book of Mormon everyday 'til i finished it, then I knelt in prayer, asking our Heavenly Father if its true. I remember i was in my room, after I prayed this wonderful feeling came to my heart and mind. I just know that its the Lord, through the Holy Ghost, telling me that its true. I know that this Church is true and that Joseph Smith was a true prophet of God and this, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the only true and living church here on earth. I know that you can also know for yourself whether its true if you will ask our Heavenly Father with sincerity of your heart in prayer. I know that He will answer because He loves and cares for us because we are His children. I know these things to be true in the name of our Savior and Redeemer, even the Son of the Living God, Jesus Christ, Amen.

How I live my faith

I know that happiness can be found in serving others. So, I make sure that I never end my day without helping others. I am a Seminary teacher in our ward, meaning I teach teenagers ages 12-18 about the gospel and the scriptures four times a week, 1hour a day. Teaching these teenagers is one of my happiness, even though sometimes its challenging to get their attention. When I turned 21, I served as a full-time missionary for the church.
