Hi I'm Brent Crandall

The gospel of Jesus Christ is the greatest source of peace, joy, happiness and confidence. I feel very privileged to be a Mormon.

About Me

I'm married to a wonderful woman who I both adore and admire. We're the lucky parents of four children.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a Mormon family, but it wasn't until my teenage years that I really began investigating my religion and asking the big questions. Through personal study, prayer and faith, I came to believe this religion was true. With that foundation set, I set out to live according to the teachings of Jesus Christ. As a result, my faith has been greatly strengthened. My capacity to love and serve others has increased, and I feel a greater peace with myself and with God.

How I live my faith

Being a member of the Mormon church, I have the privilege and opportunity of serving with the youth in my local community. In particular, I volunteer a few hours each week working with young men from 16 to 18 years old. We focus on things like personal and spiritual development, scouting, team-building, service and recreation. I also have the fun assignment of being a "home teacher" to a few families in my neighborhood. This means I make myself available to serve, love and assist whenever needed. I also visit them regularly with a spiritual or inspirational message. Most importantly though, they know they can call on me for whatever issues, needs or problems that may arise. As a family, we attend church meetings on Sunday morning. We share a scripture and family prayer each day before sending the kids to school and we enjoy a weekly "Family Home Evening" on Monday night. The gospel of Jesus Christ is one of service and sacrifice. Through this, happiness and blessings are spread throughout the community of mankind. I feel very lucky to be a part of it.
