Hi I'm Corbin Garret

I'm a Latter-Day Saint

About Me

I just got home from serving a mission for the church in London, England. It was a blast. I love being in the service of our Heavenly Father and feeling of his love. I served my mission from June 27th, 2008 - June 17th, 2010.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because I have received an answer to my prayers concerning the Book of Mormon. I know that it is a true book and I know that this is the true gospel of Jesus Christ. There is no other way I would dedicate my life to a religion or an organization had I not received a personal and unquestionable witness that it is indeed true.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by the way I live my life. I follow the basic principles of the gospel and it continues to bless me in my everyday life.

Why are only some Mormons allowed into temples? Is there something secret going on in Mormon Temples? What goes on in Mormon Temples?

Corbin Garret
We strongly believe in the church and as christians that what happens in the temple is sacred and of great importance to us as children of a Father in Heaven who loves us. Nothing of what happens in the temple is a secret. People who are prepared to make the sacred covenants, or promises, involved in attending the temple may enter into the House of the Lord. However, those who aren't have no reason for attending the temple. Anciently the Lord commanded his people to build temples so they may worship there God there. And in restored Christianity the central point of our worship is, of course, the temple. Show more Show less
