Hi I'm Tyler

I'm a student, a husband, a sports enthusiast and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in the great state of Washington and am currently going to school in Utah. I love almost any kind of sport and exercise. I love my family and am grateful for everything they do for me.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the faith and have been raised in it my whole life. My parents always did their best to teach me good values and the doctrines of the church. I have always felt a connection with the church but I still had to come to know for myself that it was true. In high school I went through a time where I really had questions that I needed answers to. I spent a lot of time reading from the Book of Mormon and praying to know if it truly was the true church on the earth. I received an answer of peace and comfort confirming to me what I had been doing all my life was right. I know that anyone who desires to know for themselves can also come to that knowledge independent of anyone else.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by following the values I have been taught since I was a child. Everyday I try to be a good person to those around me in whatever situation I find myself in.

Why do Mormon missionaries proselyte?

Missionaries proselyte to share the good news of the gospel. The Lord wants all to know that the gospel has been restored in its entirety and proselyting is one way of doing that. This is a missionary church and truth is something that is open to everyone. Show more Show less

Are Mormons Christians?

There are a lot of misconceptions about whether Mormons are truly Christians. The name of our church holds the answer. We believe in Jesus Christ and that He is the only way to salvation. We believe that it is through His grace that we are saved from our sins. Show more Show less
