Hi I'm Heather

I'm an accountant. I love play the piano and sing. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am an accountant for a real estate services company. I love to play the piano and sing and dance. Music is very special to me. I had never moved in my life until I got married. I was the youngest in my family until I was 9 years old. I am one of five kids. I have been married for just over 8 months and I LOVE it.

Why I am a Mormon

It is true that I am a member of the church because I was born into a family that is, and because of this background I grew up loving it. However, to say that this is the only reason I am a member would make my answer incomplete. At some point, ever child born into the church must decide for themselves if it is true. I know with all of my heart through my scripture study and through prayerful communication with my Heavenly Father that I am in the right church living the way He would have me live. I know that the gospel is true and know that through Christ's atonement, we can be made clean when we sin so that one day we can return to live with our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. I have a deep belief in temple marriage. It gives me so much strength to know I can be with my sweetheart forever if we stay faithful to our covenants. I love being a member of this church and know I would be lost without the truths I am constantly learning.

How I live my faith

I choose to live my faith every day through modest dress, keeping the commandments, and helping those around me who need my help. Each day I try to read my scriptures and learn something new. When I learn something, I write it down and try to make a goal of how I can improve my life based upon what I have learned. One of my favorite ways to live my faith is through visiting teaching. I love to get together with a few other sisters in the ward and just talk. We talk about the gospel and our lives and anything they need to talk about. By sharing our trials and happiness, we make each others lives brighter. It's funny that this is one of my favorite things to do because I'm scared to death of talking to people I don't know. However, once we get to know each other and see how similar we are, based on our beliefs, it helps everyone involved learn and become better people.
