Hi I'm Tiffani

I'm a black belt, I love the outdoors, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm currently working in the field of research, having graduated with a degree in Neuroscience from BYU. I am an older and younger sister of 6 brothers and one sister. I grew up in California and Arizona doing outdoor activities. Since I was the only girl in my family for so long, I grew up doing all the fun things guys got to do: camping, motorcycle riding, Martial Arts, and plenty more outdoorsy things. I am also a wife, a daughter, and an expecting mother!

Why I am a Mormon

I chose to be baptized into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints when I was 8-years-old. I have been a part of this church my whole life and I wouldn't have it any other way. I have chosen to stay a member of this church because of my firm beliefs that Heavenly Father knows each and everyone of us. He cares about us and wants to hear from us, through prayer. I have felt the most peace and comfort in my life when I have knelt down before God to talk with Him personally. I have told Him of the things that are going on in my daily life. I know that He is listening because of the peace I feel and the answers that I receive. He answers prayers. All we have to do is ask. Also, being a part of the science community in my studies, I have seen how hard it is for scientists to believe in a God. The more I learn about the world around me, about the human body, more specifically the brain, I gain a deeper testimony of the existence of God. None of this could have happened by chance. No matter where I go around the world, I can go to church with other Latter-day Saints and feel the same feeling I felt when I was baptized. That same peace and comfort feeling. That is a witness to me that the things that I am hearing and studying are true. I have been able to ask Heavenly Father in prayer if this church is true and if the things I have read in the scriptures are true. Throughout my life, with all the ups and downs, I have been able to rely on my Heavenly Father to guide and direct me in the decisions I have made both big and small. I have asked things like what university to go to, about marriage, and even giving me confidence in the things I do. I have seen His hands in my life with the daily miracles and blessings. There is a God. He lives and loves His children. What an amazing thing to know... that we are all children of God.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through faith! I attend church every Sunday, where I can worship and draw closer to Heavenly Father and His son, Jesus Christ. I also have the privileged of visiting two women who live near me and really love and care for them. We are all striving to be more like our Savior, Jesus Christ. He set the perfect example of loving and caring for everyone. That is how I live my faith, through striving to be more like Him through service and love.
