Hi I'm T. Barton

I'm a Mormon Missionary serving in Australia

About Me

I'm a kid who has grown up knowing about the Gospel and living it my entire life. I play 2nd violin in my local Orchestra, and worked in a nearby movie theater as an employee and manager for 2 1/2 years. I'm currently serving a mission for my church in Australia

Why I am a Mormon

I was brought up as mormon, and baptised when I was 8 years old by my father. I eventually had to grow up, and when I was a teenager, took a serious study of the Book of Mormon, and took Moroni's Challenge in Moroni 10:3-5 to ask God if this book was true. I've received an answer for myself, and invite people to read about this wonderful book.

How I live my faith

I go every Sunday to our local chapel, and participate in the three 1 hour blocks for worship. I used to go around with my father every month and talk to 2-3 families in the neighborhood and make sure everything is well, but now I'm sharing the Gospel message with the people in Australia.

Why do Mormon missionaries proselyte?

T. Barton
The reason that I personally have gone out and served a mission was because I find so much joy in the teachings of the Latter-day Saint Church, that I want the whole world or at least the area I'm in to hear about this wonderful message of the Restored Gospel. Show more Show less

Does The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints endorse political parties?

T. Barton
No. As members of our church, we are encouraged to use our Agency (freedom of choice, given to all by God), to study and choose which political party would be best for us and our families and to use our vote to try and make the world better. Show more Show less
