Hi I'm Rob

I love to coach soccer, I love to sing in the car and I love to work hard. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a father of three with one on the way. I work as a Controller for a general contractor. I recently graduated with an MBA. I coach my six year old's soccer team. I enjoy playing basketball, hiking, camping and traveling. Above all, I love being a father and husband. I can't wait to get home when the clock hits five and spend the evening swimming, playing hide and go seek, going on walks and reading books and scriptures with my children. The two hours between when I return home from work until the kids are in bed are ones I cherish. Many times it means spending a few hours late into the night getting ready for the next work day.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because it provides the answers to questions that are important to me. I'm a family man and love that the Mormon faith teaches that I can live with my wife and children for all of eternity. It explains why we are here on earth (to gain a body and be tested), where we came from (a pre-mortal life where we were spirits), and where we are going after this life (to live as a family with a loving Heavenly Father if we are righteous). The answers to these questions are what I live for every day. Knowing that our family can be bound for eternity makes the challenges that having a successful marriage bring worth fighting for. I can see how difficult it would be to not just give up with an understanding of the eternal nature of marriage.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to be a positive influence in the world around me. I coach youth soccer and feel it is a great opportunity for me to teach values of hard work, respect, and endurance. I am assigned to visit two families each month from our congregation. I enjoy getting to know the families and becoming a part of their life. I share spiritual a message each month and challenge them to do something more in their life whether it is loving their spouse more, serving other people, studying the scriptures or being kind to those around them. I love going into a person's home and helping them to know that they are a child of God and that he is watching out for them. Deep down I feel a duty as a human being to watch out for those around me and help them in any way possible.
