Why I am a Mormon

Why i chose to be a Mormon was because of the pure doctrines and teachings that were being taught and my spiritual eyes were open to a lot things and i found joy, peace and rest of mind there as well, being a Mormon has really bring out the best in me and make me to be a better person especially in my spiritual life. The best time of my life i s the oppurtunity to serve a full time mission which really helped me a lot in my life, i was able to learn loads of things from the scripture and be able to understand it as well. Fulfilling my home teaching is a great thing i love doing and looking forward to every month and always look forward to any activity that will help me meet other church members.

What do Mormons believe about Jesus Christ? Do Mormons believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God?

Akinlolu Emmanuel Aluko
The reason authority is important is that Jesus Christ himself showed us the way we are to follow by going all the way from galille to jordan to get baptized of john, now let us ask is that there are no waters or people who can baptized Jesus Christ in galille? then why did he have to come down to jordan to be baptized? John the baptist held the authority and power to do so because any baptism he does will surely be recognize in as much it is done in the proper manner. We believe that Jesus Christ died for the sins of all mankind from the beginning of the world down to the end and he does not want us to suffer once again being our advocate to the Father and saviour and judge of the world, we believe that he walked the surface of this earth and he will surely come again and it is upon him we based all that we do because he is the chief conerstone of the church and just like Nephi said in the book of mormon said we talk of Christ, we rejoice in Christ, we preach of Christ, we prophesy of Christ, and we write according to our prophecies, that our children may know to what source they may look for a remission of their sins. Sure we believe that Jesus Christ is the begotten of God cos the Ftaher himself testified about it when Jesus Christ was baptised, He said this is my beloved son in whom i am well pleased.
