Hi I'm Christina Rose

About Me

I am a senior studying creative writing. I have loved to write for most of my life and my favorite author is Jack Kerouac. My most favorite thing to write is poetry and I write a lot of it. I also like to read and do things outside, like ride my bike, run, and swim. I love music more than most things in the world and I could listen to it forever. I plan on studying library science to become a librarian. I joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints three and a half years ago, and it was one of the best decisions I have ever made. I got married this past March and we have a little pet guinea pig named Timothy.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because all of the other things that I tried didn't work. I wanted to know that happiness wasn't only fleeting and that life was purposeful. I found these things in the Gospel of Jesus Christ and I felt these truths the strongest at the LDS church.

How I live my faith

I don't live perfectly, but I always have faith that there is a God who loves and knows me. I fall short of this every day, but the best example I have is Jesus Christ.

What are some things that tell to you there is a God?

Christina Rose
The Holy Ghost. And prayer. It doesn't have to be church-related, although you can definitely know there is a God when you read the scriptures. It can be a feeling you get when you see something really beautiful, meet someone really welcoming, or hear the most beautiful song. It's just a feeling in your heart that tells you that God exists.
