Hi I'm Julie, A

About Me

I am a full-time graduate student and mother of 2 young children. I look forward to graduating in December!! I hope to teach either computer technology education or high school social studies. When I have the time I enjoy sewing, knitting, cross-stitching, and genealogy. I always find time to ski in the winter with my children:)

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the Presbyterian Church but drifted away after high school. Over many years I attended different Christian churches but none felt right. I remember back to when I was confirmed into the Presbyterian Church and I knew it was wrong to be confirmed. Again, it wasn't right. I moved out of state and was introduced to the LDS church. I was baptized and confirmed into this church and never had that feeling that it was a mistake. It was the spirit all the time guiding me toward the right path. I've always believed in Jesus Christ as my Savior and I know I am in his Church. I am raising my children in a strong faith that believes we should strive to be like Jesus. We aren't perfect and that's okay. What matters is to try and follow the path. This is more than just attending Church on Sunday. This is about living the gospel every day. I believe that Heavenly Father placed us on this earth as a test. In exchange for placing us here we do have some rules to live by. It is that simple.

How I live my faith

I currently teach in the nursery room and create the church programs each Sunday.
