Hi I'm Heather

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife of almost 25 years and a mother of two beautiful young women. My husband and my daughters are my best friends. I love spending time with them on our boat, away from the distractions of the world. I collect recipes. I love to cook and enjoy cooking for large crowds, especially family gatherings. I love photography. I am a novice, but find great joy in taking photographs. I love the stories they tell and the memories they bring.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised a member of the church. I have always remained faithful and have found great joy in raising my two daughters to be worthy and faithful daughter's of our Heavenly Father.

How I live my faith

I have had an opportunity to serve in many capacities. I have worked in the nursery with very young children, I have been a teacher and a leader of young children. I have taught and led the youth and have been a teacher for adult women. Currently, my husband and I are serving in leadership positions for a congregation of Young Single Adults. We worship with them on Sundays and participate in many gatherings and activities throughout the week. We love these young adults and feel very blessed to associate with them.

Can a husband and wife be together forever? Do Mormons believe that families will live together in heaven?

Heather
Yes they can! That is why my husband and I were married in the temple. Unlike a civil marriage, where a couple is married, "until death do you part", the temple sealing binds our marriage for "time and all eternity". As each of our daughters were born, this temple sealing extended to them. They are sealed to us, their parents. This wonderful blessing binds us together as an eternal family and we will continue to exist as a family in heaven. Show more Show less
