Hi I'm Brenda Lee

About Me

I'm a mom of 4 boys (and future missionaries) and married to the love of my life. We are also a military family. Both my husband and I were born into the church. We grew up together and dated a few times in High School, but never really got serious until after my husband returned from serving his 2 year mission. After that, the rest is history. ;)

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of the testimony born to me by the Holy Spirit that the Book of Mormon is true and that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is Lord's only true church on this earth today. I know this because I have searched the scriptures and prayed with an open and honest heart to know if these things are true and He has manifested to me that they are. I have had many instances where it has been reconfirmed to me, but none as strong as a time where I came to a crossroads in my life where I could have chosen another path away from our Lord. He spoke so clearly to my soul that the decision I was about to make was wrong and that if I remained true and held fast to the Gospel, that things would work out for the best. I followed His promptings and He has been true to His word. I would have never imagined that I could have such a happy life as I do now. I am truly grateful for the blessing that the Gospel is to me and my family. As I have listened to his living prophets and followed their counsel, I can see the Lord's hand at work, especially now in our troubled times. He will give us the help we need if we follow the counsel given through our living prophet that we can use to weather the storms of evil. I know this Gospel is true. I know that Joseph Smith was a true prophet that helped to establish Christ's church again on the earth. I know that President Thomas S. Monson is a true, living prophet today. In Christ's name I bear witness to this.

How I live my faith

I try very hard to remember that each person I come in contact with is a son or daughter of God and also my spiritual brother or sister. Sometimes, it definitely takes work, but when I do it helps me to think about what Jesus' perspective is and it helps me when I try to love them as He does. I'm currently in the presidency of our women's organization. This opportunity has definitely a blessing as I am continuing to grow into the person the Lord wants me to be. I love interacting with all the different women and it gives me hope to see such fine ladies raising a righteous generation.

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

Brenda Lee
No. We help everyone because everyone is our spiritual brother/sister as we are all God's children. Show more Show less
