Hi I'm April

I grew up in Denmark and in the U.S. I am a wife, a mother of three. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love being a stay-at-home mom to my three girls. The work is more demanding than when I worked full-time as a financial analyst, but it is much more fulfilling. I enjoy running, crafts, and reading good books.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into an active LDS family. We attended church as a family throughout my childhood and young adulthood. During this time I grew to understand the Gospel of Jesus Christ more fully and came to know for myself that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is Christ's church here on the Earth. Living the Gospel is how I can be happy in this life in spite of the ups and downs we all have.

How I live my faith

We attend church as a family every week. We love worshipping as a family. As part of our Sunday service I work with the children ages 11 and under. It is a wonderful opportunity to get to know these members of our congregation and to teach them the Gospel of Jesus Christ at a very basic level.

Are Mormons Christians?

Mormons are most definitely Christians. The central part of our Sunday service is the Sacrament in which we commemorate and remember Christ's sacrifice for us. We worship Him and try to pattern our lives after His. We teach our children about Christ and know that it is only through accepting Him that we can be saved. Show more Show less
