Hi I'm Jenny LeeAnn Baca

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mother of six children, a Navy wife, a piano teacher, an aspiring Opera singer, a flautist, a Massage Therapist, a soccer coach, a former professional cheerleader, a photographer and love to play with my children, excercise, dance, read, make jewelry and Pinterest. I have many interests, too many probably, and am always looking to learn something new. But the best thing about me...I am Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church and my parents taught me and my siblings about Jesus Christ and His gospel. We went to church every Sunday, we prayed as a family at home, and we read the scriptures. As I grew up, I had to find out for my self about the things I was taught as a child and receive my own witness or testimony. As I prayed and read the words of the Savior as found in the scriptures, little by little I received these wonderful feelings of peace, of love, feelings of warmth in my heart, a strong feeling that what I was taught and learned as a child about Christ and His church, were indeed true. These feelings would come again and again as I studied and learned more. I eventually went on to serve as a missionary in Chile and teach the gospel I love so much to others so that they too could know the truth and receive the blessings that come from following Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

There is a hymn or song that we sing in church that I have adopted as my "motto" or motivator to help me live my faith on a daily basis. It reads: "Have I done any good in the world today, have I helped anyone in need, have I cheered up the sad or made someone feel glad? If not I have failed indeed." I have learned over time that serving other people is the best way to emulate the Savior, and is the best way to help me feel his Sprirt and his love, and help the people I serve to feel that as well. Serving others brings me great happiness and helps me not to focus on myself, especially when I am experiences challenges in my life.
