Hi I'm Jennifer

I'm a musician. I'm a wife and a mother. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the wife of a wonderful husband and the mother of three beautiful children. I love music! I play the piano, the violin, and I sing. I am currently working on my Bachelor's degree in Family Studies through an online college. Before I was married I was a City Queen and gave up my crown half way through my reign to be married for time and all eternity to the love of my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a Mormon family. From a young age I felt the joy that the Gospel of Jesus Christ can bring into the family and into the life of individuals. At the age of 10, I was reading in the Book of Mormon and read the words: "whatsoever thing ye ask in faith, believing that ye shall receive in the name of Christ, ye shall receive it." I already had a desire to know for myself if the Gospel was for me but when I read those words the Gospel became real to me. It was as if those words jumped off the page telling me that all I needed to do was ask. And when I asked I felt in my mind and in my heart that Jesus is the Christ, that The Book of Mormon is true, and that the Gospel of Jesus Christ is restored in these Latter-days. Ever since then I have tasted more sweetly the joy and peace the Gospel invites into my life. When I am living the Gospel I feel calm and secure in the knowledge of the love my Father in Heaven and my Savior Jesus Christ have for me. Since that moment I have been committed to live the teachings of Jesus Christ. These teachings keep me grounded and help me know that I can have guaranteed happiness and peace if I follow them. Through Jesus Christ I can overcome all feelings of doubt, despair, and discouragement. It is because of the Atonement I can feel peace again after any mistakes I make. I love being a Mormon. I love the promise that I can be with my family forever. My name is Jennifer, I am a wife and a mother, and I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith daily in my family as I pray and teach my children how to pray. I teach them they are children of a loving Heavenly Father who knows them personally. We study the scriptures together and learn more about how much Heavenly Father loves His children. At Church I work with the youth, particularly the young women. I see such divine potential in them as they learn about who they are as women and their divine nature and destiny. I also care for the women in my neighborhood through visits, phone calls, and prayer.
