Hi I'm Keith Paxton

I am a college student. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I graduated with an associates in 2009. I am currently attending college. I like to read, write stories, and play computer games. I also collect coins.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church. I remained a member because I prayed and studied about the church and felt the Holy Ghost testify to me of the truthfulness of its teachings. I also love the kindness and support I receive from church members.

How I live my faith

I do home teaching the church. I was also worked in the family history center as a indexer.

Are all Mormons required to serve a mission?

Keith Paxton
Not all are required to serve a mission. Men are expected to serve a mission. Women encouraged to serve a mission, but not required. Sometimes, for certain reasons, people are not able to serve a mission. There are also missions you can go on as couples. Show more Show less

Why do Mormons perform baptisms for the dead?

Keith Paxton
Baptism for the dead was once done in this days of the apostle Paul (1 Corinthians 15:9). The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is a restoration of the church that Christ set up when he was on the earth. If Paul had it in his days then it makes since for our church to have it as well. Many have not had the opportunity to be baptized and that is why we do it for them, so that if they except it they can enter the Kingdom of God. However they are not added to the Church membership records. Show more Show less
