Hi I'm Matt

I'm an Air Force ROTC cadet, international studies student, sports fanatic, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a student at Utah State University and absolutely love it! I am a cadet in the Air Force ROTC program and looking forward to commissioning as an officer. I served a full-time mission in Paris France and cherish the time that I spent there serving. My family is very dear and important to me. As for my hobbies, I love sports and the outdoors.

Why I am a Mormon

Like Nephi, a prophet in the Book of Mormon, I was born to good parents that taught me the gospel of Jesus Christ. I have been blessed to have a family that taught me to read the scriptures, to pray and to find out for myself. That is exactly what I did. I read, I prayed, and I put the teachings to action in my life. I have seen the blessings in my life for doing so and I have felt the confirming witness of the Holy Ghost that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is truly Christ's church.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by keeping the promises I've made through baptism to keep the commandments of the Lord. I especially try to serve those around me. I have learned that showing love for others brings more peace, happiness, and sense of fulfillment in my life than anything else I could do.
