Hi I'm K. Brown

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi, I'm a husband to a wonderful wife Kim Dad to 5 beautiful kids, and Grand-dad to 16. I love to fish, kayak, and enjoy the outdoors in general. Been Self employed for 20 years which gave me time to enjoy the things that bring me my greatest peace and joy.....family, church and this great world we live in. And yes I am a Mormon!!!

Why I am a Mormon

The tapestry of life consists of many threads which represent our actions, hopes, thoughts, deeds, and desires. It was only when I began to learn about The Gospel in it's fullness that all those threads began to come together and form a beautiful picture. That I am important to my Father in Heaven, that Jesus Christ is my Elder Brother and friend, that there is a specific and eternal purpose to my life and everyone else, and with those realizations I began to see the picture of my tapestry for the first time in full and living color, and realized the eternal nature of me! These are the things the church has helped me to find out for myself, and that is why I am a Mormon....The Gospel IS true!!!

How I live my faith

A major part of The Gospel of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the importance of service and love for our fellow man. I find great satisfaction in being able to serve and help not only those I love and care about, but those who have needs outside my personal circle of friends and family. When I question should I help this person or that, I am reminded of the Love and sacrifice of our Savior, and not only find the answer, but also the means and strength to reach out and help. I serve in The Bishopric of our ward where I live, and as I serve I am strengthened and lifted up, my testimony is increased and my faith is fortified. I am so thankful to know that God lives and He wants us to be happy and return to him. And as I strive to live my faith, I am confident, Father in Heaven will provide for me the opportunity to come back into His presence.
