Hi I'm Phil

I am an Iowa kid, and now father.I work for a major Mortage Company in Loan orrigination. And I am A MORMON

About Me

I work full time as a Mortgage Origination Processor. I am also an adult learner that has returned to college to finish my degree in Business Administration. I enjoy music (singing, listenting, etc) Broadway musicals are my favorite. I also enjoy hunting, spending time with my kids. I have a step-son along with two daughters and a son. All of these make up my family and everything I do is to give them a better life.

Why I am a Mormon

Why? Why not.... I grew up in a staunch Catholic family, however I knew very little of the actual teachings or dogma. I went through all of the motions including being an alter server for most of my youth. Durring high school I found myself going less and less. When I went off to college, church was more a social event then reciving the gospel. After many years, and changes in church leadership (Pope John Paul II's passing) questions really started flying, only to hit deaf walls. I will still Catholic by baptism and declared such due to fears. When I met my wife, she had already converted. Years laer she told me that one day I would be a member as well. It tooks years before one day the spirit gave my wife a deep impression to "drag" all of us to church. Ever since that day, the spirt has worked to provide answers and open my eyes the meaning of our purpose here on earth and clarity that the gospel can give us. There have been times thta I have done something for the first time, only to feel the spirit and realize that I had done this beofre some time before. I testify to you that your questions will be answered and the gospel of Jesus Christ is alive in the spirit presnet here on earth.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending church meetings, and helping my wife in the church library / materials center. I love meeting new people and work with leadership to fellowship and interact with all families. I also live my faith by volunteering at events such as potlucks, picnics and other outings and get togethers.
