Hi I'm Lilli

Family is very important to me. I am a daughter, a sister, a wife and a mother. I'm a hairdresser and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I've been married for 10 years and have a beautiful daughter. Being a mom is the best and I hope to have more children in the future. We moved back to our hometown after 8 years away and I love being around my family. I work full time as a hairdresser and I love helping other people feel good about themselves. I spend some of my free time as a volunteer facilitator for the Look Good Feel Better program helping cancer patients with the changes they are going through. I also like to scrapbook, blog, read, and eat good food! I've been a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints my whole life. Growing up in a small town, I was one of the only LDS kids in my school. Because of the way my parents raised me in the Gospel this was more of a blessing than a challenge. I enjoyed being different than the majority of the students and standing out in a good way. I have always tried to live my life in a way that would please my Father in Heaven and my Savior Jesus Christ. I believe one of the best ways to spread the Gospel is through example.

Why I am a Mormon

My mom joined the church when she was 19. She has been my role model my entire life. I have seen how being a faithful member of the church has blessed her life. I have also seen family members and friends who have decided not to remain faithful in the gospel and how it has affected their lives. I choose to be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints because of the joy it brings me. My greatest desire is to be with my family for eternity in the presence of my Savior. The Lord's plan is a plan of happiness and that is what I have in my life when I obey His commandments and choose the right. I can't say that I never have trials because that would be far from the truth. I have had my share of struggles. Some have been harder to get through than others, but it has always been the same thing that has gotten me through and that has been my faithfulness to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He is my light. He is my strength. My troubles would be ten fold without Him to carry me through. I believe that this is the Lord's true church and I am so thankful to be a member of it. I know that we have a living prophet who communicates with God and receives revelation to guide His children. I want to live worthy to receive the blessing that the Lord has in store for me and most of all I want to be an example to my daughter the way my mom has been an example to me.

How I live my faith

My calling in the church is to work with the young women from ages 12-18. This is such a great opportunity for me to help guide these girls through the tricky teenage years of their lives. I connect well with the girls because it wasn't so long ago that I was where they are and I relate stories of my life to them to show them that I know what they are going through. It is so wonderful to watch these girls learn and grow in the gospel and gain their own testimony of the church. I have had several callings in the church and it has always been my experience that no matter how unqualified I feel for the job, the Lord has guided me through and helped me develop the skills I needed to accomplish what He asked me to do.
