Hi I'm Amber.

I'm a college graduate, a wife, a mother. I am learning when to speak my mind, and when to bite my tongue. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm busy being a mom, and continually strive for balance in my life. I love to read, play games as a family, go on dates with my husband, and listen to the quiet when it enters my day. I am learning how precious time is, and try to be deliberate in what I choose to do with each moment. As our children have grown, my appreciation for the time we have together as a family has increased, and I want to send them into the world with a certainty of our love for them, and the confidence that they can meet their challenges with courage and faith.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I want to follow God. I feel his presence in our meetings and in the words of the scriptures. I have felt God speak to my mind, and have felt his peace in my heart. I have struggled with many questions in my life-- what type of diet is best for my body? How do I help a child who is being disobedient? How should I handle a disagreement with my husband? I know that God answers my questions, and cares about the details of our lives. These whisperings in my mind and heart have brought me peace and joy in my life and in my relationships.

How I live my faith

I live my faith as I strive to draw near to God every day. I read from the Bible and the Book of Mormon. I pray morning and night and when I don't know what to do. We meet as a family each week to learn from the scriptures and to strengthen our relationships. I worship God through music, and I try to serve others the way Jesus did.
