Hi I'm Jeff

I've lived all around the USA and have found a blessed home in the Mountains of Az where I share life with many wonderful people

About Me

I'm 48. Currently single. I'm a father of 3 fantastic children and 2 granddaughters. I spent most of my adult life making a living in retail management. Now however I'm blessed to have been given the opportunity to use the talents and abilities the Lord has given me to make a living serving others while allowing ample time to be able to serve Him and His church, which I am slowly learning how to do. I enjoy reading, study and family. Having had my share of the world's trappings, I no longer spend time in trivial pursuits. Every moment I have being a gift from God, I enjoy sharing this life with God's children, experiencing love, joy and true hope.

Why I am a Mormon

I became a Latter Day Saint when I was 17. I was a rebelious teenager when a pair of inspired missionaries shared the gospel with me. It didn't take much reading of the Book of Mormon before I knew of its inspired truths. The Holy Ghost bore testimony of the restored Gospel and I was quickly baptized. Still being young, and not having a support structure outside of the church I fell away from activity in the church fairly quickly. Just a few years ago the path of my life crossed that of an old dear friend who's heartfelt love and testimony sent me searching scripture again. This time the power and truth of the Lords church at work here on earth was unmistakable. I walked into a church house one Sunday morning, listened to the testimonies being shared that day and met with the Bishop that following week to begin my journy home. He and another bretheren gave me a Priesthood blessing that night that changed the course of my life forever. Althought the witness of that change did not happen right away. Only by looking back was I able the see the Lords hand in my life. Line upon line, precept upon precept. I'm a Mormon because I know through prayer and living the precepts of the Gospel, the resulting personal revelation gives me strength, direction and peace of mind this world can not provide.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by walking with a prayer always in my my heart, By being grateful for the abundance of all that is this life. I strive to be an example to my children and help them to discover the truth and goodness in their lives. I'm blessed to be able to teach and share the Gospel with older teenagers at church every Sunday. I'm learning how to incorporate inspiration and live by faith with each passing day. Becoming confident and excited at what each day has in store and how the Lord will reveal further light and understanding.
