Hi I'm Robert

I grew up in Boise, Idaho and am the father to seven children. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I consider myself to be blessed, as I was born into the church. I was born to great parents who taught me the gospel of Jesus Christ in the home and who encouraged me to go to church. I continue today to be an active member simply because I know that this is His (Jesus Christ's) church, lead by a living prophet of God today. Because of trying everyday to live the gospel, my confidence is strong. I do not fear what is to come, and I do not fear death. I know where I am going after my earthly life is complete.

Why I am a Mormon

Luckly, I was born into the church which was a great blessing to me. I had wonderful parents who set an excellent example for me. I am a Mormon because I have had the burning in my heart to the extent that I know that this is Jesus Christ's church. I envite you to put it to the test, challenge the teachings, and most of all pray about this church...if you do I promise you that you will also know of its truthfullness.

How I live my faith

I do not live my faith on my sleeve, but once someone gets to know me they will see my heart and will know that my faith is strong. I am more than willing to share my faith if the spirit prompts me or if I am asked.

Are Mormons Christians?

This is a question that always seems to come up. Why of course we are Christians! We pray to God the Father through our Savior Jesus Christ. He is our Redeemer and our advocate to the Father. The name of the church should tell any person the answer to this question, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints! We do NOT pray to or through The Prophet Joseph Smith. The Book of Mormon is a second witness of Jesus Christ, and throughout the book testifies of our Savior. We certainly are Christians! Show more Show less

Can a husband and wife be together forever? Do Mormons believe that families will live together in heaven?

Worthy members can be married in any of our temples for time (here on earth), and for all eternity. My wife and I were married in the Los Angeles Temple and when we die, we will be husband and wife forever. We also know that our family will be with us in heaven. Members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints definitely believe that we will live as families in heaven! We have a son and daughter-in-law that were killed in a car automobile accident about 3 years ago. It was such a hard thing for our families. The one main thing that has helped us through this period of our lives is to know that we will be with them once again. Our separation is only temporary. If I thought that we would never see them again, I do not think that I could continue to go on. Show more Show less

In whom should we have faith?

There is one simple answer to this question. We should have faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Show more Show less
