Hi I'm J. Anthony Sterrett, Jr.

I was born in Portland, OR; I'm a furry, a brony, but most importantly, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm married, living in California and working on Bachelor's Degrees in Mathematics and Computer Science; my goal is to someday get my PhD and be a professor. I love to sing, and I currently hold the calling of Choir Director in my ward. My wife and I don't have any children (yet!), but we do have quite a few animals (dogs and cats), and we foster, as well.

Why I am a Mormon

Being a member of the LDS faith is in many ways intrinsic to my being. I have always been a member of this faith, and it is comforting to know that I can be with my family for all eternity. I love my family, and I am so grateful that those relationships can continue past this too-short life.

How I live my faith

I hold two callings within my congregation: I organize the music for our main (sacrament) meeting, and I also direct the choir. I have a testimony of the power of music - words of praise sung in earnest invite the Holy Spirit into one's heart more effectively than any other means I know.
