Hi I'm Megan

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Megan and I was born in Guam because both of my parents were in the military. Growing up we moved around a lot, but we settled down around the time I entered high school. I love to learn, and have had to work hard for my education.

Why I am a Mormon

I joined the Church when I was 20 years old. Throughout my life I had struggled because I didn't know that life had meaning, I thought that when I died that was it. Because of this I did not have much hope for the future, and I didn't care about the choices I was making. One day, after I had met Mormon missionaries, I prayed and read in the scriptures. The missionaries had taught me about life before coming to earth, and about life after leaving this earth. When I prayed and read the scriptures I began to feel different, happy, and I knew that what the missionaries had taught me was true. I continued to have this feeling when I was making good choices and when I was learning. I was taught that this feeling is the Holy Ghost. I joined the Church because I learned through the Holy Ghost that it was true.

How I live my faith

Everyday I try to because closer to God and Jesus Christ. I pray for opportunities to help others and to give back from all that I have been given. I try to look at others the way that Christ would look at them, and I strive to have a love for all people.
