Hi I'm Joe

I'm a Husband, a Father, a part time soldier.....and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in the great state of Idaho but currently live in California and work as a project manager / estimator for an architectural sheet metal company. I love the outdoors spending time camping and fishing with my family. I also love reading, woodworking, dogs, and a good thunderstorm. I serve in the California National Guard.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I believe in Jesus Christ and that he restored this church through the Prophet Joseph Smith. I believe that the Book of Mormon is true and was written by prophets of God. I also believe that this church is lead by a living prophet and twelve apostles. This knowledge gives me great peace and comfort.

How I live my faith

I teach the young men of our congregation and closely work with them to help them develop the characteristics and attributes to someday become devoted husbands, fathers, and followers of Christ. I also live my faith by doing my best to keep the commandments of God and looking for opportunities to serve others.

What are Mormon Temples used for?

Mormon Temples are considered by us to be the most sacred places on earth, we also refer to them as "The House of The Lord". They are places where we are further instructed about God's eternal plan for our happiness. A place where we do work for our deceased ancestors and a place where families can be united together forever. We are all literally children of God, and the temple is a place where work is done to help bring his children back home to him. Show more Show less
