Hi I'm Jordan Christopher

I'm from California and am so grateful to have the gospel in my life.

About Me

I grew up in Redondo Beach, California. I am the only sibling in my family that goes to church and I can relate with standing alone in my faith. I served a mission in Mexico when I was 19-21 years old. I'm gong to school and am headed for a law degree.

Why I am a Mormon

When I turned 18, I had a desire to know if the church I grew up in was true. I didn't want to just follow what I grew up with blindly. I prayed and prayed for a long time about if I should serve a mission and if the church was true. My answer finally came after many hours on my knees and it has changed the way I live my life forever. It was a lot of work and I don't know how I had the strength to keep asking and praying, but I feel that it has paid off many times over and that it will continue to. My convictions give me hope and added strength. I can't imagine a better feeling than knowing that you are living a life that your Heavenly Father is proud of.

How I live my faith

I work hard to maintain good habits of meaningful personal prayer, reading the scriptures for guidance and hope, attending the temple, and I try my best to serve the people around me. My faith influences most everything I do throughout my day. I don't know where I would be without my personal relationship with my Heavenly Father.

How can faith in Jesus Christ influence us in our marriages and family relationships? in our friendships?

Jordan Christopher
Faith in Christ means that we have a deep conviction that we know that Christ is our Redeemer. Through this conviction, we gain a sense of hope, gratitude, love and a desire to live our lives like He did. When a person has this type of faith, people naturally want to be around them. Everyone loves to be around a bright, loving and friendly person. Family relationships and friendships become deeper and more meaningful when we find a true conviction and faith that Christ is our Savior and best friend. Things like forgiveness, empathy, genuine love, service, and honesty are the natural byproducts of a true belief in Jesus Christ. Every healthy relationship needs these things. Show more Show less
