Hi I'm Bethany

I'm surrounded by people I love and I love people. I'm a family gal and try to live in the moment. Most importantly I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I married my dream boat who has since chosen atheism as his belief system. We have 2 silly boys and love spending time as a family camping, hiking and enjoying the outdoors. I love to exercise and be active. I enjoy portrait photography and trying to capture the best of people. I'm fighting cancer and winning I think. I have experienced much heartache in this life, but I've experienced even more joy. I love to live and I live to love.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church, but I never want to leave. I love being a mormon with it's emphasis on service and love. It's center focus on families and finding joy in this life. It encourages me to continually strive to be a better person to give more and love more. It gives purpose to all that happens in this life and gives me the strength and hope I need to move forward despite the challenges I face. I may have been raised a Mormon, but a Mormon I will always be.

How I live my faith

I try and teach my boys what I believe and what brings me so much joy and peace every day. We attend church services most every week because I love feeling uplifted and edified. I work with the girls 8-11 to help them develop life skills and talents as well as discover their own personal testimonies of what they believe in. I enjoy attending church sponsored activities that help me to do the same.

How can faith in Jesus Christ influence us in our marriages and family relationships? in our friendships?

Bethany
Faith in Jesus Christ is a believing in a man who sacrificed his life and atoned for the sins for all mankind. He is the perfect example of love and selflessness. Two qualities that will bring great joy into our relationships whether with family members or friends. Believing in Christ is trying to live as he did and to become like him. He taught us to love unconditionally and to serve continually even those who may despise us. If we live our relationships with that attitude of love, forgiveness, service, patience and loyalty as Jesus Christ has taught us by example then our marriages, family relationships and friendships will all be greatly strengthened and bring us so much joy and fulfillment in this life.
