Hi I'm Tim

I'm a Mormon. I was born in Salt Lake City, but grew up in Alberta, Canada. I am a pianist, sports enthusiast, father and husband.

About Me

I am a father of three boys, manager, Young Mens Leader, former seminary teacher, ward organist, and primary chorister.

Why I am a Mormon

I believe it to be true. I have prayed, read the scriptures and received a witness. The gospel has blessed my life and the lives of my family members.

How I live my faith

Each morning starts with family prayer and scripture study. This activity has brought my family closer together and starts the day off with the spirit. We start early in the morning so we can go our separate ways to seminary, school and work.

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

In 2013 Southern Alberta, Canada experienced severe flooding in the Calgary area. Many families and individuals were affected. Some were evacuated from their homes as the waters ravaged the area. Once the flooding subsided and residents were allowed to enter their homes, the church members and communities organized teams to go to homes and help clean out houses of damaged possessions. Sunday service meetings were amended to allow church members to increase their availability to volunteer in the communities. Anyone that was in need was offered help regardless of religion, ethnicity or economic status. Everyone that participated felt good about helping people they may not have known before. An outpouring of community spirit has continued as annual events are held to remember the service performed and not the devastating flood. Show more Show less
